- Can I use This serum in AM?
Yes! Vitamin C + Pycnogenol® is a powerful antioxidant and it neutralizes free radicals. Ultraviolet light emitted by the sun induces free radical formation in the skin and that leads to photoaging and even cancer. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant and it protects the skin against the harmful effects of UV radiation. So it’s not only safe to use this serum in the day, it in fact is helpful to do that. However, please note that this serum is not a replacement for your sunscreen and you should always layer your Vitamin C + Pycnogenol® serum with a good sunscreen when using during the day.

Pycnogenol® is a natural plant extract derived from the pine bark of French maritime pine trees. It contains procyanidins, bioflavonoids, and organic acids that work in synergy to rejuvenate the skin, with the aim of enhancing skin hydration and elasticity. With the ability to selectively bind to collagen and elastin, Pycnogenol® protects these proteins from degradation, helping to nourish the skin from the inside out. Being a unique and powerful antioxidant, Pycnogenol® scavenges for free radicals before they cause damage by oxidative stress. It can also recycle oxidized Vitamin C to restore its activity. The REEHDUS BIOTECH 5% Ascorbic acid + 5% Pycnogenol® is free of artificial colors.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a proven skin-brightener and antioxidant for decades. It boosts collagen formation and effectively targets visible signs of aging, giving skin the much-needed glow. The effectiveness of Vitamin C majorly depends upon the concentration of pure Vitamin C delivered to your deeper layer of skin. If a serum delivers 5-10 % of pure Vitamin C right into the dermis, it works like a magic wand. However, Vitamin C is highly unstable in its purest form (L-Ascorbic Acid) and loses its efficacy when exposed to air or light.
Notes: pure L-Ascorbic acid is highly unstable in formulations that contain water and use of it in formulations containing water is highly discouraged. Our REEHDUS BIOTECH 5%Ascorbic acid + 5%Pycnogenol® formulation is a water-free, stable solution, and may feel slightly “oily” for a few seconds after application, despite the fact that it is completely free of oil.

How to Apply
Step 1: Cleanse face with water or mild cleanser.
Step 2: Gently pat dry.
Step 3:Take 5 to 6 drops of serum from the pump bottle onto the fingertips.
Step 4:Dab the serum onto your face & neck.
Step 5: Gently massage in a circular motion until it is completely absorbed.
